Android "Back" button doesn't work in fullscreen?

When I export my game to Cordova(Android) and check "Hide status bar", all "Browser On mobile Back button pressed" events stop working. With "Hide status bar" disabled, the Back button works, but the game doesn't run in full screen.

Is this an expected behavior or a bug? Is there any solution?

Also, if Ashley hopefully sees this comment, I got no answer to this problem on the forum:

When the Keyboard hides, the Navigation buttons do not hide automatically. I'd need to pull the notification and let go to make my game fullscreen again. Making it 'Fullscreen' (browser) or changing layout doesn't help either. Any fix to this?
