when I add and configure it I cannot rotate objects in 360 degrees or move a virtual joystick

"Left Edge = viewport left"

Anchor will take over positioning and make your life difficult. I suggest you rather anchor a helper object to the corner, and use events to position the joystick and its components to that helper on start of layout.

Why do you need an anchor?

Create a separate layer with 0% paralax.

Place the joystick on it and control it with events.

You can find a lot of ready-made joysticks on the net.

Here's an example of my simple control of the tank.
