How to add spinning(size,rotate)box around sprite ??

Hi everyone .. i wish i can find a solution here

i'm doing a game for kids that drag and drop item to mix and match but i tried to add spinner around the objects by different ways but i found nothing, i tried to link "Fabric.js" but i failed.. is there any way to add that rectangle on the item once i select it or tap on it ??( shown in photo attached )

Thank you for your support ... its really helping but i'm looking for some code that call "fabric.js" directly without apply all the event for each sprite the fabric.js function is more reliable
