Working Example Admob (MobileAdvert) Template for Construct 3 .c3p

Hello,

I am beginner and trying to implement admob with the built-in Construct3 MobileAdvert plugin. I have followed several videos and examples in this forum and still cannot get test ads to show.

Here is screenshot of my event sheet. I'm using test admob ads from developers.google.com/admob/android/test-ads

I do have correct app id from my admob account and added to MobileAdvert.

Hopefully, someone can help provide a working admob template for everyone.

I'm using LDplayer on PC for emulating android.

I loaded the example template from that site. Added my own app id and test ads id and still cannot get any ads to show. I produced signed APK and used LDplayer for android emulation. Thanks

I don't know about android emulation but as far as I know you need to try it with an APK on a phone. Also check your admob account has been verified.

Android emulation should work, because I've played regular playstore apps & games on it and ads show up all of the time.

But I will try apk on my phone just in case.

Hey guys, I just found out that my c3 template does indeed show the test ads on android phones.

However, it won't show in emulators like ldplayer, which I've been testing on.

I've seen ads from other apps appear on emulators. So I will still need to test live ads for my c3 apps on emulator when they are published.
