No, you can't do it this way.

You can change the color from white to green with "Set color" action, or by applying an effect (Tint, Set Color or Replace Color), or using BBcode. Not all of these methods will work with black outline, so you'll need to experiment.

I do suggest instead asking the Construct Team (Ashley to get Spritefont animations.

Simple, have 3 sprite fonts, one white, one green, one red and display text accordingly

You can already change the spritefont color without needing to use other spritefonts. Use a white spritefont and use BBcode to change the color.
