  • Hi - We have a small html5 animation we want to play on a digital signage platform (called Broadsign).

When it tries to play the construct/html5 files we get the following error...

    ---------------

2025-03-14T15:13:29.793](warning) [Qt: default] QtWebEngine: component error: file:///C:/Program Files/Broadsign/bsp/bin/qml/QtWebEngine/Controls1Delegates/AlertDialog.qml:40:1: module "QtQuick.Dialogs" is not installed

[2025-03-14T15:13:29.793](warning) [Qt: default] Failed to load dialog, rejecting.

[2025-03-14T15:13:29.814](error) [Qt: html_content] Failed to load module script: The server responded with a non-JavaScript MIME type of "". Strict MIME type checking is enforced for module scripts per HTML spec.

    ----------------

Literally, no idea what QTWebEngine is and what/why Construct used it for.

The animation is pretty simple, but used dynamics).

If anyone can help or shed any light on what we could do to get things working, that would be massively appreciated! :)

  • Construct doesn't use QtWebEngine for any official feature, so that must be something to do with the way you are loading or running your web export from Construct - I'd guess it's part of Broadsign.
