This Student Workbook uses both Construct 3 & 2 encoding. It supplies client-side & php "back-end" encoding.
  • Hi everyone, I'm encountering a problem that I can't seem to solve. Adjusting the "max spritesheet size" only seems to make things worse. In a previous project, I managed to fix a similar issue by having just one layer without transparency. However, in this current project, I have three layers. I've tried setting them all to transparent, and even tried leaving just one layer transparent, but nothing seems to work.

I feel like I've tweaked every setting I can think of, but no luck so far. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Here's how the app looks.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • How can we help you if you gave a screenshot and said you have problems with layers. Do you think someone will understand what the problem is? Probably just a psychic.

It would be better to post a mini example of the problem or tell us in detail what is wrong.

  • The problem is that on mobile phones the graphics look broken into pieces, the backgrounds of layer 0 are stretched and put in another position, on the PC it looks perfect.

I leave you the link of the app, on PC it looks good and on mobile it looks bad.

  • For example, in this other link I put Scale Outer and it stretches the background.

  • Except for the side elements that I highlighted in green in the display on the PC, I didn't see anything strange.

Probably there is an anchor behavior on these elements or you position them by specifying the position “ViewportLeft, ViewportRight”.

  • Thanks for your support!

I've been encountering some issues with the background layer in my app. I note adjust the max spritesheet size or tweak all transparent layers, the results vary—sometimes it improves slightly, and other times it gets worse. Additionally, applying the scale outer option also affects how the background appears.

Here’s an example of what it looks like the background:
