Images Not Loading?

Hey, so I'm new to this space but I'm 100% sure I'm following the manuals and a video showing the same thing exactly, but images won't load at all on my projects. I keep clicking "tiled background" and open the image interface, and clicking on the little folder brings up my computer files. But no matter what image I click on--including the one referenced IN THE MANUAL--it won't load. The screen just stays blank.

Wth man, I just blew a sh*t ton of money on this and I can't even get the most rudimentary element to work??

Does it not pull up your file explorer? I’m still confused as to what the problem is.

It does pull up the file explorer still. What happens is: I click that folder, I click the image I want, but then nothing happens. Like, literally not even an error message, just nothing happens :(

This has never happened to me before—very strange. Check the console for errors and paste them here if you find any.

Additionally, remember that you can drag and drop images directly into the Construct editor. Just drag the file from your PC into the editor. Try this method if the folder approach doesn’t work.

As a last resort, you can also try copying and pasting the image into the editor.
