Hi,

Trying to open an old C2 project, but its failing! The project file is a single capx file and is openable in C2.

Help please!

Press F12 and check the browser console for a more detailed error message.

In general it's impossible to help further unless you share the project file.

An Update :

I tried and the console shows following error :

The moveto behaviour is from rex and a c3 version of it has already been added to the engine.

It says not supported in this runtime. I do not want C3 runtime, C2 runtime would work!

Any way to port the project without removing addon? (As a lot depends on addon!)

Whenever I've seen this before it looks like a mix-up with addon versions. It's impossible to save a project in Construct using a runtime that addons don't support, because it won't let you switch to that runtime. The only way around that is if you save a project, then install a different version of the addon that doesn't support the runtime you were using, then try to open the project - then you get that error saying the behavior is not supported in that runtime.

So it's probably caused by a mix-up with a third-party behavior and installing a wrong or incompatible version.

Didn't quite get it, but in case it means using updated addon in C2, have tried that but did not worked!

Doesn't C3 addon have to be a different version from the one used in C2 because it is developed for C3 (being pored from C2)! So not sure what to do next! If you can have a look, would be very thankful!
