  • Our game is currently rejected by Facebook Instant Game for the following reason: Developer Policy 6.1 - Login (iOS, Android & Web).

We developed Facebook Instant Games using Construct 3 and tested the game on all supported physical devices and browsers, however, our game is working properly in devices and browsers.

Construct 3 framework has an issue with the iOS Xcode simulator causing Android emulator games to get stuck on the loading screen. Please see the attached images for reference and check out this issue in the link below.

Can you please help us to fix this construct3 issue so we can submit our game in Facebook instant game.

    Summary:

Construct 3 framework has a bug that prevents testing on simulators that running below XCode12 and Android emulators. We assure that game is working fine in all devices, we have tested it in all platforms. Is there a solution for this construct3 issue? Are there any releases with this fix in the pipeline?

  • IIRC, on Xcode versions older than 12, the emulator doesn't support WebAssembly and so Construct 3 games don't run. That issue never affected real devices, only the emulator. This was fixed a few years ago and it hasn't been a problem since. I don't know why anyone would still need support for old Xcode versions.

Without more details, I'd guess that a crash on an Android emulator is due to buggy graphics drivers that can cause crashes, which is a problem we've seen before. That's a problem with the emulator, not Construct, so it's out of our control. Again that usually does not affect real devices.
