does C3 change the extension from capx to c3p automatically?

Is it normal that C3 does not change the extension of a capx-project to c3p automatically after saving?

I am asking this, because I saved a capx file to dropbox and after a few times opening and saving (without problems) I suddenly received a message that C3 can't open the project anymore.

So I downloaded the capx file, renamed the extension to c3p and it works again.

If Construct 3 saves over a .capx file and doesn't change the name, it's a bug, please file an issue for it.

Ok, when I have time I will try to reproduce it with an example (will be difficult, I suspect) and file a bug report that follows all guidelines.
