Hi guys,

I recently saw that Scirra added support for adaptive app icons, where is the documentation making these icons?

- I have tried and it does not work - I think I am going wrong somewhere - are their any examples?

Spent an hour on it a week before last, couldn't get it to work while building an APK, Just guesswork without the official documentation, so It's a matter of just waiting for a Stable Release, with updated documentation I presume.

Ok, thanks for letting me know. I have been trying as well and have not got it working :(

It's pretty simple: you just need two same-sized images, and set one to the adaptive background, and the other one to adaptive foreground.

However sometimes the build fails due to a Cordova bug. I've reported it to the Cordova developers, they'll need to fix that.

I keep trying and all goes wrong please could you post an example file?

What goes wrong? I would guess you are running in to the Cordova issue that needs to be fixed.

What sizes do the icons need to be - also do I remove all the other icons and just have 2 icons one foreground one background?

The icons can be any size, you just need to make sure the adaptive foreground and background icons are the same size. As for what icon sizes and types to use, that's not up to Construct - refer to the Android guides for that.
