• Dear Friends,

We are happy to share following Scirra Construct mobile game which is developed by myself and my wife Thelisha Hasanthi Peiris. We published it on Google Play last week.

We live in Sri Lanka (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sri_Lanka) and here people celebrate traditional new year festival in April every year. It is also know as "Aluth Avurudu" season and playing traditional games is an important part of this season. So we developed a mobile game called ?Avurudu Games? with 4 Traditional Sri Lankan New Year Games .

This is our first ?published? mobile game and we would appreciate if you can try this game on your android devices and share your valuable feedback. We tried to provide in-game instructions to make this understandable for those who haven't seen these traditional games in real life, however please let us know if we need to improve instructions.

All the graphics used in this game were created from scratch using InkScape and GIMP open source software based on traditional Sri Lankan arts. And we used CocoonJS to make this deployable on Android.

You may search for ?Avurudu Games? in Google Play to download this (make sure that you type it correctly ).

Also we created a Facebook page to publish details of mobile/web games developed by us. We named our game development team as "Thaprobane Interactive" (ThaproInt) and we have already published our first mobile game on Google Play. We are planning to develop many games in future also and we will be announcing those games on our Facebook page.
