• codah No not boring at all it is really informative. I don't remember where but I have seen with bank transfer they charge you a lot of money with chartboost so like you said the best way to go is with Paypal. I am outside of US as well. My experience with paypal is I can not direct transfer Dollars to my bank account but there must be a currency exchange and it seems they exchange it in the lowest Dollars currency at that time. But anyways still better than Bank transfer costs. Now I started to get boring but we wouldn'T bother the ads if it wasn't for revenues isn't it??

• codah Hi I hope everything is going well with your games and ads. I was gonna ask a question I have been reading really suspicous reviews about google admob if there is a weird activity with your ads in your game that they could suspend all your google account including your email and you can not reregister for it since they ask for your phone etc. Is this true?? Or did you experience anything like this or did any of your games were banned because of some activity of your ads (not in your control). Also I am not doing things like loading banner under a control button like tricking the player to push the ad banner etc. I was trying to stay away from google admob for a long time because of these reviews but it also seems to be giving good revenues especially with banners so could go back to it. I remember I used it before and in my first attempts it was giving quite fair revenues.

Hi, can you post some links to these reviews? I really haven't heard anything like that. I think you would get some warning from Google if they had issues with an app, so that you could change it. I've not had any apps banned or even quest?oned by Google.

As for my Vungle 'experiment', since Jan 19 when I put in Vungle ads on an app I have had 3,335 new installs and made $2.83 I only show the Vungle ads (forced video ad) on app exit. Maybe I could try a different setup. I can show you all the figures offline if you want, maybe you can make more sense of it.

• Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
• codah Check out the links below.

And there are other forums that have infos in them like above but anyway it doesn'T mean it will be the same with you. Do you ever use Mopub and if yes is it possible to use it with Intel XDK?? I know people using Ludei using Mopub but since I build all my games with Intel XDK I never had a chance with it. Seems people use that for mediation. But I never had any experience with it.

By the way did you ever try Leadbolt I used it once but then switched back to other networks like Chartboost etc. But I would like to have some eCPM revenues not just Cost Per click revenues. So I would like to have your opinion about it if you have used it at all? For example how it is compared to Admob especially with banners.

• codah Now the tutorial is in the Tutorials Section;)

Hey, continuing to spam your thread...

I've got my Mac And I'm going through your doc. I seem to have hit a noob error with the certificate..

[attachment=0:3flzsdwi]ios_cert.png[/attachment:3flzsdwi]

I seemingly went through the process here..

[quote:3flzsdwi]Follow the steps below to obtain and upload your certificate to the Intel’s Build System.

http://www.html5dev-software.intel.com/ ... inCert.pdf

I think the problem is that I requeted a CSR from the XDK and then also from the Apple dev site. Or something.

Any clues?

edit: so I transferred the .csr file from the XDK (clicked the download button in step 1a) to my Mac and created a certificate based on that. Then I transferred the certificate file *.cer back to the XDK and uploaded it in step 1b, now it's just saying "Please wait while we upload your file..." and just sits there.

edit 2: I just ignored it and reloaded the XDK and got further.. now have an ipk and will see how it goes

• codah Hi,

No problem with Spamming

I think that's a bug with XDK I had the same problem with it. It just got stuck. So I restarted it and it worked. By the way I don't think you need a Mac to create the certificates you can do it all in PC. Just upload the file to itunes and create your certificate there. Also make sure you select the same certificate when you are creating your Adhoc and distribution prov. files. Otherwise it will give build error.

Don't forget to select Yes for Advertising Identifiers when submitting to apple.

Good Luck

Thanks. BTW I finally got my .ipk and installed it on an iPad but it just says "installing" forever. Guess I have more work to do!

• codah might be something of the iPAD also. Restart your iPAd and try again. I mean turn the power off and on. you mean .ipa file btw right?? My files are extensions are not .ipk files. And also did you register your iPAd to appl developer?? If not you should otherwise it might not work.

http://www.wikihow.com/Image:Add-a-New- ... Step-1.jpg

Also the way I do is after I download the file with .ipa extension.I go to its folder then right click the file and say open with and then select itunes.

When your device is connected to the computer just drag and drop the .ipa file to your iPads any screens that appear as simulator on the right hand side. Then say Apply or Sync.

Good Luck

Yea sorry was thinking of Android .apk Yes I registered the device, but I'll check I did it right. (You reminded me now, I also tried to install on a non-registered iPad and got the same result). I'm hoping I didn't screw up by creating 2 certificates somehow. Maybe if I start over from scratch again and follow your tips. Thanks again for the instruction doc and help.

• codah Ok break down of things.

It should be a Distribution Certificate

when you are creating your Provisioning files you should select the same Certificate that you created under it.

Also Make sure your Bundle Id is same in all of them and also in your XDK build settings.

Also After you uploaded your certificate close the build settings and upload the provisioning files. Than say build again and make sure you select upload the files again.

Adhoc should be selected in your XDK build settings to test in your iPad. If you select distribution it won't install the iPad or the game won't work.

Good Luck

• Thanks, will let you know how I go.

• codah Hi Just to let you know, when building with XDK the distribution build for IOS make sure you select IOS TARGETING 5.1.1 otherwise apple will reject the game during the upload process with the apploader. I experienced this last night and when I selected 5.1.1 it was ok. Good Luck

Thanks. BTW I'm the one who commented on your post in G+

Also, I'm using Cordova export in C2 instead of PhoneGap as mentioned in your doc.

• codah No problem. Haha so it is you! Anyway glad I can be helpful
