Hmm... I'm not completely understand what you wrote...

But If you try my game, you will see it's completely other mechanics from envato's samples you showed here. Anyway, I'm pretty sure there is games on Google Play market and even envato that used this mechanics.

But in my game the logic I made by myself, and all the logic is created via arrays etc.
