why do i get this spécial letters in my AJAX ? [SOLVED]

the problem is here:

i'm using french fonts and any type of spécial fonts ('&éèçà) are replaced by those horibbles ? marks

this is strange because i was using the exactly same XML for another project and never seen this problem

Do you have a character set somewhere ? or removed something like that .. or stored the XML file in a different format ?

charsets, like UTF-8 or unicode etc

this encoding was needed

encoding="ISO-8859-1"
