Hey, I want to do a simple tutorial with C2. Step by Step, with the Free Version.

Would installing a second one in a different directory have any effect on my current licensed one?

No right? Construct2 does not have that superpower :p ?

Where is the license file placed, in your documents folder or in the Construct 2 directory itself?

If you want a Free edition and a Personal License to be running at the same time, you'd need to move the license.txt file into the C2 directory of one the installations, and delete it from your Documents folder (which is where I'd normally put it).
