User created line drawing?

Hi guys!

I am very new to Construct 2 but so far love it! I am having an issue with allowing a user to draw lines on a canvas, in this case it is to wire (electrical trade school) from point A to point B as often as needed while the mouse button is down. I have tried every example I can find but I never get the one result I'm after?
