Two Camera split screen

I have a game design for two character being controlled with the same player in two different cameras for two different layouts. I've searched the forum about split screen or two cameras but i only found old threads from '09 and the files didn't open on constructed 2.

Anyone have a clue about how to do this?

I'm not sure this is even possible. I heard you could do something with the canvas plugin, but I doubt it's feasible.

i guess two layouts on one screen is not possible. but you can create "two" levels on one layout so that one player can't enter region ("level") of another, and with canvas plugin you can simulate second camera - to separate "levels" and player visualy.

That's really cool. Never let it be said that I know what's impossible ;)
