tracking time in a new layout

Hi Everyone

I have a question regarding tracking time in a different layout other than the default one.

I create a new global number in the new layout , and I am adding 1/60 every tick to that number.

I want to create a new object when the time reaches 2 sec, however, this only works when the time is equal or greater than 2, did I do anything wrong? or is there a better way to do it? Thank you for your help!

Yeah the value will never be exactly equal to 2 because of rounding. You should use the value dt instead of 1/60 so it will work the same at any framerate. And use 'System: Trigger Once' in events 2 and 3 so it only creates an object the first time the timer is >= 2.
