Tools and Tutorials for a Complete Game Design

I am a great fan of Construct 2 and love exploring it.

A good game is not a game with good story-line, effects and performance, but with a good sprite, music and so on.

Using Construct 2, I can make games using sprites and music made from other software. But what are the software tools needed for making such sprite and music for the game???

Please provide me some list of tools, needed for making such sprites and music, and other things if any???

It will be better if it is a freeware. Sharewares also welcomed. But whatever the tool it may be, it should have a good tutorial to make a beginner to work around it.

The forum "Tools/resources" holds all the lists you might need.

Instead of just expecting an answer, you should have probably used the search function of the forums.
