Throw daggers and hit the most fruit! Watch out for the wind, if you run out of daggers you'll lose the game!
  • hello,

i am new to construct, i saw many tutorials but no where i found any guide, how to through object to fwd.

very similar like Paper Toss Game.

I think this seems impossible in construct, because construct works only top bottom right left.?

    Need your help please

  • Is it possible in this software???

please anybody give me just few moments to help pleaseeeeeeeeee

  • Had no idea what Paper Toss Game was until a few moments ago. Apparently I'm pretty bad at it...

It is a 3d game so it's harder to do as it will require math to pull off, not impossible but certainly not the best candidate for a first game especially since C2 is geared for 2d games.

First see if you can make the game in only 2d as a side view and then a top view. The bullet behavior can be used in both cases. For the 3rd dimension you'll need to use a variable to keep track of and adjust the Z position or distance into the screen and change the paper wad's scale based on that. There is a tutorial on psuedo 3d that may help with some of the math as well.

  • here i found a genius person who did it beautifully in gamesalad. see its marketplace and search papertoss.if construct2 is really can't do it, then its failure product.

  • All that can be concluded is an example of such a game hasn't been made yet, not that it can't be done.

  • means gamesalad is winner

    You mean this game right?

I don't see the impossible, actually it looks pretty easy if you know how it work. But cloning a boring game is not fun.

    feyninja right back at ya!

  • LoL if its easy, then why no one is there to explain how can i do this..

there are one thing can be possible from two

    1. no one is expert like people are on gamesalad.

    2. construct2 is not advance as gamesalad.

I also want to use construct2 if it is familiar with all kind of features like gamesalad can do. because gamesalad is mush expensive.

  • what exacly you need to know?

  • i create paper with physics effect, but its not working like it has to be like realistic..

also when i pick ball using mouse cursor it start dancing around the cursor. it must behave like i pick it and now going to throw.

anyone if can create sample for me, so i can learn it.

also i saw many tutorials but none of them is showing any physics example similar to this.

also how can i create physics object similar to jump thru, because i want ball should cross from bottom and on return it became bounding box.

without physics game this game is not possible..

  • This is strange that, this forum seems full of of experts but no body is there to help.

i describe above i want to do paper toss like example as above youtube link someone did in gamesalad.

  • please post this capx, what you already make

  • On MAN which capx you are talking about???

in youtube a genius game maker did this job in GameSalad application not in contruct2.

I just want the solution how can i do this in construct2.. that's it

strange thing is there are thousand of users, no one knows how to do this. even someone above says its impossible.

so i believe if its impossible then construct2 is fails and GameSalad wins???

I still challenge people here if someone can really do this please show me. just create realistic throwing ball in basket effect. that's it
