Specific Charge Shot

I'm desperate here guys. I need to make a charge shot like the one in Megaman Battle Network. Basically the player will hold the spacebar for 3 seconds, damage will be added to the bullet_dmg variable, the player releases the spacebar, and the bullet is fired.

I've tried messing with the other charge shot tutorial and maybe I'm nuts but I just can't get it to work the way I want it to. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Please and thank you.

Can anyone help me out? Seriously you'd be saving lives...children's lives...the children I wont have if I screw up this project and become a failure in life.

First of all, you can't share a .caproj file on it's own, you have to either share the whole folder, or preferably, save as a single file (.capx).

That being said, I'm not going to install any plugins to view your file. (Someone else might though)

Now, for the charge. I don't know how the Megaman charge works, but here's how I would do it, hope it helps:

Not exactly what I was looking for but I never thought of using dt (nor did I know what it did). Totally helped me out, it works perfectly now thanks =]
