(SOLVED) How do I STOP a scrolling?

Hi

in my app i have a scrolling tiled ground object, i want after 10s the scroll to STOP at his actual position

The ground tiled object has a Global constant number SCROLLSPEED= 100

You can set it to 0 and insert the events:

-- (system) on start of layout , (system) set value (to 100)

-- (system) compare variable (your variable is equal to 100) (system) wait (10 sec) and then (system) set value (your variable to 0)

If it is not working.. please contact me and send a capx with it

I'am going to work on it now.. I hope I can fix it because i thougth that you used the custom movement behaviour.

Deltatime doens't has to be a big problem to stop.

I edited your timer event stuff to just a global variable, otherwise it bugs...

I just changed every tick to; less than 10 (the ten is a global variable for the timer) and then set the dt speed.

yeah its working but now we changed the idea, the sprite has just to do a jump action and allways stay at the same position, never follow the scroll, i don't know how to achieve that here is my file https://www.dropbox.com/s/4pmjk7ggfu3g8ie/Tooth_3D_ENGINE_v04.capx?dl=0

i need just to do something like

the ground is allways scrolling but the sprite stay at the same position and only jump.

can someone help with a little capx?

Although I'm not sure why your setup is the way it is, if you want to keep using it this way the easiest way would be to set the paralax of layer "Front" to 0,0 and add this event at the bottom of your event sheet
