How do I solve the main problems of city building game

question 1 : select building in the sidebar.

question 2 : put in the map. (then isometric moving)

I can't tell what the question is? Is it about how to make an isometric map?

Well, unfortunately I haven't delved into isometric projection much when it comes to C2, but perhaps you can make use of rexrainbow's movement behaviors. In particular behavior: rex_grid move

As far as selecting buildings on the sidebar, I imagine it'd just be a matter of having an object follow the mouse on the grid after you click its icon.

You have to use image grid sprites of exactly the proper size in order to get the isometric grid to appear nicely. Otherwise your grid pieces will have gaps and other undesirable effects.

There is a bug in site so i can't update tutorials now. But here's an updated capx for tutorial. You need to change Grid values.
