  • could you make this tools simpler or the tutorial with some video? <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • There are numerous video tutorials (try to look for the word "video" in that page).

As for making simpler, the beginners guide to C2 is a pretty simple and essential tutorial to reproduce.

If you find this tutorial to be too difficult, maybe game making isn't for you.

  • Construct 2 is the most simple and powerful game making software. Start by following an introduction tutorial. When you feels comfortable with the basics make an extremely simple game to start then evolve from there. There is also lots of help on the forums for any questions you have.

  • It is simple, but that doesn't mean there isn't an initial hurdle. Do the first sample tutorials to get a grasp of the basics. Then your going to roll along easily.

  • I gotta admit, it's quite simple. I came to Construct 2 with zero game development experience, no programming experience (aside from front end web dev.) I looked at numerous gaming engines, and construct is by far the easiest to work with. Plus there is a TON of info on it.

I recommend reading the entire manual, doing at least a couple tutorials (which will give you an idea of how to use the tool). Once the interface is more familiar to you, go to the forums "HOW DO I" section for a great list put together by Kyatric. Many members have offered up their files to show how to do a particular function. I encourage you to look through them.

    Good luck!

  • Once you run through the tutorials as mentioned above, definitely start learning how to create sprites or find free ones online. There's a quick youtube video I found that walks through some basics
