How do I Set the 8 directions Option higher

hello guys im working on a Ping Pong game and my Player is left...i can switch to up and down on the left side ...but how can i switch overall? so i wanna switch more right ? ...: -/

Do you want your player character to move left/right or do you want to be able to move the player on the right?

I had the Player on the Left Side...but i just can go him up and down when my finger are on the left side...i want to slide my finger on the right side to play my player on the left side ...

I gave the Player the 8 directions...can i make the area bigger? :-/
