All popular touch mechanics - scrolling, zooming, swiping
  • Still beating my head in over some (probably simple) functions.

I have two images that scroll at different speeds. The foreground is, of course, much faster. The background is slower.

The foreground image scrolls, but I cannot get it to be smooth. Ugh.

The background image scrolls correctly, but I cannot get it to stop once it 'hits bottom'.

The .capx is the last iteration, I've tried several different methods and this is the closest I could get.

  • For the background : <img src="https://dl.dropbox.com/u/36472942/construct/forumhelp/BackgroundScrollStop.PNG" border="0">

Stop loop is to be used in a "For", "For each", "Repeat" or any other kind of loops system condition

For the foreground, your image does not fit to produce the effect you're looking for.

Check the "How do I FAQ" (link in my signature) to the section "Scrolling/Camera" you will find numerous examples that should help you make the scrolling effect you're looking for.

  • Thanks. I'll check them out.

Nope. None of the examples is quite right on the foreground, that I can see. What do you mean exactly, "doesn't fit"? The background function you provided is perfect, thanks.
