Scroll Panel

Is there any way in construct to make a sort of scroll panel that can be scrolled using touch input (or maybe mouse wheel)?

I want to use it to display some long text (news list) and a list of achievments.

Easiest way would be to use an invisible sprite with the scrollto behaviour or a system scrollto action and move that sprite with touch.

What I mean't was actually to create a sort of listbox, not a Whole scrolling level fi I understand your proposed solution correctly the scroll to acutally moves the Whole screen.

It only moves the layers that have paralax.

You can set the paralex of layers that shouldn't scroll to 0,0 (It can even be done during runtime I believe)

Did not thought about that. Anyway that is far difficult to make it for a little area of the screen (like my news ticker for example).

you could give the items in your news ticker the drag and drop behaviour, and foolaround with the settings ,or create a invisible sprite on touch and use it to manipulate the movement of the items in your newsticker, or you could make small up and down buttons to make it move, or you could create a slider to do the same..

So many options to create the same or a similar effect depending on your coding abilities and visual wishes.

I think the up down buttons will probably be a better solution.

I'll further investigate on this.

New object > Text Box

Go to text box properties select type > Text Area (this has auto scroll bars when text exceeds text box space.
