How do I save a snapshot to be seen in the gallery of my android phone. And how do I save the image to be seen within the app at a later time.

I dont quite remember how but I got my screen to take a snap shot then I told the background to load url snapshot after it took the snap shot
I can get the background to load the snapshot, but after i restart the app it won't be there any more.
