Save file locally

Hi,

I'd like to make interactive product catalog. Part of its functionality is to enable users to download files on his HDD/SSD. I'd like to provide C2 an URL to this file and user should download it via C2.

How to do it and what plugins to use?

I think you don�t need any plugin

-> Browser Open Url in new window(ww.url.de/download_path/file.exe

Then it should automatically open a new tab, instantly close the new tab and start the download.

For the right urls it could be that you need Ajax + Php
