For reasons too lengthy to take up your time explaining, I need to save a Construct2 project created in Version 39 , to a previous version - Version 33

Can I do this? Can I open the single file .capx project on my own PC and then Save As to a single file previous version so that it can be opened on a PC on which I can't update the Construct2 Version

Newt already answered with the same in your previous topic though.

Also, you should simply update to the most recent release, as long as the education subscription you are using is still valid, the new release will work with your license.

You should at least update your r233 to the latest stable r239.
