Hi, I want to make randomly generated rooms like in the binding of issac. So I found this tutorial to generate random levels, but the free template was in construct 3. And my game I want to apply it to is in construct 2. I have remade everthing else but the functions part, and have tried for 2 days to remake the functions, but im not great with the event sheet.

Link to my attempted C2 remake(I left the functions out):

Could anybody please help or point me the the correct direction on parameters and functions? :)
Hey, that's my demo! :)
In C2 you can access function parameters using expression Param(index)
Hey dop2000 loved your demo. It's probably just what I need to take my game to the next level. :)
Thanks for replying will give it a try when I get back home.
Should I also add in the sceneUID as a local variable
Just got home and had time to try it. Got it right straight away in 5min after following your tip.
Thanks so much — You are amazing!
I'll keep you in mind if I can't doing something advanced myself and need to pay a wizard on the events sheet :)
Hey dop2000
Do you also know how to make the scenes appear above, below or next to the last scene moved?
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
There is a paid version of this template, it contains examples of endless runner and endless jumper levels. See Demos C and D:

Ok, I saw it earlier. Seems very worth it, so will be getting it. Hopefully I don't struggle to much applying it to C2. dop2000
