How do I redeem a License

Hi there!

In december I bought Construct 2 on Steam. I'm using it in my free time and it's AWESOME!

I was trying some of the examples here on the site but it seems that the steam version of construct isn't the same available here on the site.

Can I also redeem a Personal License here on the site from my steam product?

Thanks for the info guys. Was wanting to update to steam personal r176 as well, but couldn't find how until now. (publishing to the scirra arcade required the latest beta.)

Also important - Install the free version on steam as well, and enable beta on both the free and personal accounts.

Pretty sure that the steam license and one bought from this site are totally different and not interchangeable. Using search brought these responses from Ashley:

TL:DR

If you purchase a license from steam, then steam handle all the authorization and licensing issues. If you purchase from this site, then you get a redeem code and the license is a physical key file.
