  • Hello everyone,

I may have posted a similar topic already and if I did, I am sorry! I am planning on making a game similar to Rogue Legacy or the Binding of Isaac. I am interested in how the maps for those games are pretty much randomly generated. Does anyone how to make this happen in Construct 2?

Thanks and have a nice day!

I did look into that, but I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas on how to make it happen.

  • If you can explain what you would like to do different than any of the many examples in the threads in the search, it would maybe be easier to answer your question..

There are so many different examples of randomly and/or proceduraly generated maps and ways to do it, what would you like to be different?

I've seen that some people make pre-made rooms and hallways and then they just randomly place them in space. They connect them and then check for errors. Is that pretty much it? Or are there other ways to make it work? Perhaps in a better way?
