Nobody else has reported this, perhaps your internet connection is problematic? Have you tried the alternative torrent download as well?

From my experience, of having a slow net connection torrent will take a good few minutes to connect before starting the download this error is caused by slow connection. It's also best to mention, an your post what browser you're using to download construct 2 with when you experience this.
