question about saving image from snapshot ?

i'm using this to save an image from snapshot

i would like to know where it will be saved on device ? (android)

on the www folder or images ?

Did you read my answer? On my Android phone the image is saved in Download folder.

I still don't understand why can't you just test this yourself.

the default example js call is window.plugins.wallpaper.setImage('img/mybackground.jpg');

since the image from snapshot is saved to download folder as you say

how would be the js call ? window.plugins.wallpaper.setImage('download/snapshot.jpg'); ???

You need to move "invoke download" into "System->On canvas snapshot" event.

Otherwise your code from the first comment is correct.

so that mean that the invoke download of canvasnapshot will save the image under www folder ?

If you can't find the file, use search function on your phone. You know the file name. Open some file explorer app and search for this name.

By the way, when I preview this project on mobile and save the snapshot, Chrome shows me a notification about the saved image and its exact location.

Does it happen on you phone? If not, maybe you are doing something wrong and the snapshot is actually not getting saved.

I tried your capx in preview mode on my mobile - it saves the snapshot to Download folder, but the JS code doesn't seem to work, even after I updated the path to '/Download/snapshot.jpeg'.

I'm not a big specialist in Android, so I don't know what could be wrong and how to fix it.

Maybe you need to give the app some special permissions or something like that.
