How do I make a Pokedex

How do I make a Pokedex and what would i use to make it. Would I use arrays, dictionaries. I dont know. Can someone help me out???

My solution:

• Create sprite which contains all you pokemons (each one in frame). Animation speed=0 and repeat count = 0.

• add dictionnarie with: Key = "nameofthepokemon" & Value = "index of the pokemon in the sprite"
