How do I play animation while using global variable to spawn

I'm using a global variable to randomly spawn coins but the animation will not play when i use this method.

am i missing something?

if i spawn the same object with random second it plays the animation fine.

if i spawn the same object with random second it plays the animation fine.

The coins were spawning every tick so the coin on top would show frame 0 of the animation then another would spawn and show frame 0 and on and on........

I've fixed it and reduced the number of events for the actual spawning.
