Platformer Enemy Movements

Hello everyone <img src="smileys/smiley9.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

I actually just started using construct today and have been following Ashley's tutorial on making platform games (http://www.scirra.com/tutorials/37/beginners-guide-to-construct-2) ... however I'm having some difficulties programming the enemy movements. I have very little experience in programming and would really appreciate some help from more experienced individuals.

Also, if you know of any, I'm looking for a beginners guide to creative dialog and combat.

Thank you, but I was kinda hoping for tutorials. I'm a novice at programming and don't quite understand the ins and outs of how the code in these sample games work. <img src="smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

Perhaps you should practice how the events work, then you will master it.
