How do I make a platform and shooter game?

Is there a good tutorial showing how to create a game that is both a platform and shooting game instead of just one of them?

There are examples of both genre built-in and many tutorials covering each mechanic in the Tutorials section. Also have a look in the 'How Do I FAQ'.

There may not be an exact example what you want, but if you take the time to go through the examples and a couple of tutorials, you will soon realise how easy it will be to combine them to make what ever you want.

Go to youtube and search for construct 2 tutorials. There are many video tutorials out there on this topic.
