  • How do I use pins with scaling?

For example, I need a playing card to have a number in one particular position (image point) always, ? la:

    <font face="Courier New, Courier, mono">[X--]

    [---]

    [---]</font>

but whenever I scale the card for effect (looks nice when picking it up.)

the number remains in the same position despite scaling.

    <font face="Courier New, Courier, mono">[------]

    [------]

    [X-----]

    [------]

    [------]

    [------]</font>

It's a part of a bigger project so I can't provide the capx sadly.

  • Try Construct 3

  • Can you make an example .capx, I dont understand your problem. Just something easy.

  • Here's a basic capx: mega.co.nz

The "number" (red box) is supposed to be a part of the card, and scale and move accordingly whenever the card is modified, but it just sits there.

I wonder why it's not possible to pin as child or something, so it'd inherit the parent's properties when it's modified.
