  • I just not got CocoonJS Launcher on my android tablet.

I push my zip file of the app to the sdcard. When I open the app however I encounter a black page and an error in the error log:

"Could not find anything to be executed. If you are using a ZIP file, please, verify that the main HTML or JS file is in the root of the ZIP file (not inside any folder). If you are using a folder path directly, please, check that the main HTML or JS file is stored inside of it."

I have index.html in the root directory. I don't understand what could be going wrong or what is causing this

  • Did you exported your project with CocoonJS?

  • Try Construct 3

  • What do you mean?

I zipped my file, adb pushed into to the sdcard, and it shows up on "Your App" list on CocoonJS.

    Please help.

You have to export your project with CocoonJS (Export project... -> CocoonJS), then open the folder exported and you will have the zip file.

  • I'm doing this from Eclipse and it doesn't have that <img src="smileys/smiley26.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> Do you have any idea how to go about it from Eclipse?

And must the project be exported using CocoonJS anyway? (I haven't been able to find good documentation of all this <img src="smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> )

  • What? You are not using Construct2? Well... I don't know how to export the zip from Eclipse... <img src="smileys/smiley6.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

But if I'm not mistaken... if your project is from Eclipse, you can export directly an APK, can't you?

  • Doing it from Eclipse? O_O Are you using Construct 2 at all?

  • Seasky It doesn't have and export as APK option. But I thought cocoonjs doesn't require it to be an apk file....?

To export an apk from eclipse watch this video:

    Subscribe to Construct videos now

The CocoonJS Launcher app is to test your project before compile it to an APK, and the Construct 2 can export the game as a zip file specifically for CocoonJS.

  • Eclipe? Why?

    Are you using Construct 2?

Can you explain, in the first place, why are you using Eclipse?
