How do I load a shot holding down a button

One of the characters of my game got a gun , to shoot I need to load the shot and when I release the button it shoots .

ok, now my problem...

I am having trouble to doing this, so I hold down a button to load the shot, and shoot when I release

myb my problem can be just the logic

anyone have any ideas? tks

Should be as sinple as

on button pressed - load shot

on button released - shoot

maybe you'd like to add a wait action and set a boolean variable, then you could check for the boolean in the on released event..
