licenses

I am going to buy the standard license but im getting a new PC soon.

So i was wondering, when you but it, is the license attached to your account, or is it a one off download type thing? ?

If I buy the license now, and get a new computer will i be able to re-download it?

Or if someone else brought be the license how would i get the software??

Yes it is sent to your email so you can have it on multiple computers.

When you buy the license as openabel says it is emailed to your email address as a text file. You then put this in your Construct 2 directory and you're good to go!

The email also contains your link to download all the free music, sounds and sprites.

Each license is per user, you can have it on as many computers as you want as long as it's just you using it. No limitations on number of devices!

one more question, im using the free version, and obviously its slightly limited, So when i put the license in my construct directory, does the restrictions just stop?

Yup! Construct 2 searches for the license file, if it exists it verifies it (no internet connection is used for this bit) and then unlocks the paid edition for you.
