  • Hello,

Thank you for reading this post.

I have a project I have been working on lately where the goal is to run as fast as you can. To achieve different levels of speed, I wanted to be able to harness the vibration sensor on phones.

EX. if i tap on the back of the phone twice per second , it will go 5 pixels/sec, but if i tap 4 times per second, it will go 10 pixels/sec

As a beginner in construct 2, I have no clue where to even begin taking on this task.

    Thank you in advance,

    Ian

  • Hello, I apologize for bothering you, and i know you are probably super busy, but Kyatric, is this possible using construct 2?

My decision whether to purchase C3 or not depends on this.

I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused, thank you,

    Ian

  • You could use regular tap on the screen in the Touch plugin.

Your could use the light sensor in the User Media Plugin.

I'm not aware of a way to use "vibration sensors", I'm not sure if they are accessible to browsers/HTML5.

  • Try Construct 3

  • Okay, Thank you.

Yeah, Im not entirely sure exactly what they bare called, but I saw an app on the google play store a while back that was like a sonic type platformer, and to move you had to tap on the back of the phone.

    Thank you for your time,

    Ian
