How do I fix the sound?

Hello all! I am new here. Trying to make a Captain N the Game Master game. I have Kevins jumping sound added in the game and it makes the sound when he jumps. Yay me! BUT. The sound is a bit stretched out and has an echo where the wav file I saved sounds just fine. Even playing the sound file it saved sounds fine. Any help? I tried searching but its an odd issue to find.

This is what happens when you play the sound repeatedly. Set your events to only play the sound once - as needed.

No. You are playing every tick. Without seeing the code I can't tell you exactly what to do, but you need to trigger the sound just once.

Thanks again for responding. I deleted it, then redid it and now it sounds fine. I must have done something wrong the first time! oh well. Thanks!!!
