Doing a online game

I was thinking in how to make a save game, i know that exist a tutorial about this, but they explain how to use a webStorage, i want to use something like a BD, because i'm trying to do a facebook game, so i need save the player's data in my server, if someone have a tutorial about doing a online game or acessing BD, i'll thank :)
