How do I deal with multi-objects efficiently?

hi, folks, my case is not difficult just like the attach that my bullets are those carrots, and when once one is used, one will disappear.

"So the question comes...", the only way I thought is I should name 10 times (I plan there are 10 bullets one round) with the same picture, for exmaple, carrot1.png, carrot2.png and so on, then create 10 times of sprites.....

I know my way it is stupid, so I am so appreciated that you guys can help me in the situation. How could I handle it rationally?
