How do I make character jump with swipe up on mobile?

I had made game. In my game player can jump with tap and if tap more lenghtier the player will jump higher. But many friend looks like swipe up to jump than tap to jump. But i dont know how to make it. I want make player jump when swipe up the screen and it has variety high jump

you can measure the difference in distance for swiping upward.
